The Night Raven was released in the first wave of in the first wave of Echo Vehicles for the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra toy line in 2009. It included the driver, Air-Viper (v3).
The Night Raven featured electronic lights and sounds. Some of the sounds could be activated by pressing one of three silver buttons on the top of the vehicle. The other sounds were activated by pressing the trigger on the fold-out joystick on the underside of the vehicle. Pressing the trigger of the joystick also shot off silver missiles, but only if the cockpit section of the Night Raven was "cocked" back first.
