1989 SCOOP (v1)

This is an original 1989 Scoop v1 action figure from the A Real American Hero line by Hasbro. Released in 1989, Scoop served as the G.I. Joe team's Combat Newsman. Unlike traditional soldiers, Scoop's role was to document missions, report from the battlefield, and provide media coverage while operating alongside the G.I. Joe team. His unique military journalist background makes him one of the most distinctive characters in the vintage G.I. Joe series. Scoop was originally packaged with camera equipment, microphone accessories, and his signature backpack, making complete examples especially desirable among collectors.
