Cobra Rage – 1990

Overview

The Cobra Rage is a 1990 vehicle from the vintage G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero line. This futuristic Cobra assault vehicle was designed to provide mobile firepower and support Cobra ground forces in battle.

With its aggressive styling and heavy-weapons configuration, the Rage stands out among the later Cobra vehicles released during the original ARAH era.

• Its mine dispenser adds a distinctive play feature rarely seen on many other Cobra vehicles.

• The Rage returned in a different release in 1997, packaged with an Alley Viper figure. This is a separate version from the original 1990 release.

Collector Appeal

The Cobra Rage is a distinctive 1990 Cobra vehicle, particularly appealing to collectors who want to build a complete late-era Cobra fleet. Its battering ram, Gatling gun and mine-dispenser feature make it stand out from more conventional tanks.

For a webshop listing, I would emphasise accessory completeness: the missiles and small mines are easy to lose, and a fully equipped example is more attractive to collectors.
