Overview

The Sky Raven was released by Hasbro in 1990 as part of the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Sky Patrol collection. This special version of the Cobra Night Raven features a reflective metallic finish and Sky Patrol styling, transforming a classic Cobra aircraft design into a distinctive G.I. Joe-themed collectible.

The Sky Raven is a large futuristic jet with a cockpit, extensive weaponry and a smaller reconnaissance craft. Its size and silver finish make it one of the most recognizable vehicles in the Sky Patrol range.

What Makes It Complete?

Check the following components before advertising the Sky Raven as complete:

• Main aircraft fuselage

• Cockpit canopy

• Elevating gun and its windscreen

• Engine covers

• Radar fuselage components

• Retractable landing gear

• Retractable bomb rack

• Original bombs

• Detachable missile pods and missiles

• Original stickers and instructions, if available

The Sky Raven's metallic coating can show scratches, wear or peeling. Photograph the finish carefully, along with the landing gear and bomb rack, to help buyers assess condition.

Recommended GIJoeForSale.com Price

For a clean, complete Sky Raven with its original bombs, missile pods and gun assembly, I would suggest an initial asking price of €149.95, depending on the condition of the chrome finish.

• Incomplete: €44.95–€64.95

• Good condition: €69.95–€94.95

• Very good, mostly complete: €99.95–€124.95

• Complete with original accessories: €129.95–€174.95

• Excellent complete example: €174.95–€219.95

For a boxed example, price it separately according to the condition of the box and whether all original contents are present.

Collector Appeal

The 1990 Sky Raven is one of the standout vehicles in the Sky Patrol collection. Its size, reflective finish and connection to the original Cobra Night Raven make it especially attractive to collectors of late-era vintage G.I. Joe vehicles.

For GIJoeForSale.com, highlight the metallic finish and show the aircraft with its landing gear extended and retracted. Clear photographs of the bombs, missile pods, gun and engine covers will help collectors judge completeness before purchasing.
