The Tiger Shark was released in 1988 as part of the Tiger Force sub-team in the vintage G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero line. It is a Tiger Force repaint of the Water Moccasin, Cobra's classic swamp and amphibious attack vehicle.

The Tiger Shark originally came with Tiger Force Bazooka, making the figure an important part of a complete original set.
