The Night Blaster was released in 1988 as part of the vintage G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero line. It is a Tiger Force vehicle based on the classic M.O.B.A.T. tank, redesigned in Tiger Force's distinctive yellow-and-black camouflage.

The Night Blaster was not packaged with an action figure, which is important when determining completeness and market value.
