The 1990 Sky Patrol Sky Hawk is a metallic-finish version of the original G.I. Joe Sky Hawk aircraft, first released in 1984. Hasbro updated the compact VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) craft with a reflective silver finish and black-and-grey Sky Patrol styling.

Designed for rapid deployment and close air support, the Sky Hawk features pivoting engine pods, landing skids and underbody weaponry. The 1990 version was sold as a standalone vehicle without an action figure.
