The Cobra Gyrocopter is a 1988 Motorized Vehicle Pack from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero line. It is a small, motorized one-man Cobra aircraft designed to give a single figure a compact airborne attack vehicle.

Unlike the Motorized Action Packs, the Motorized Vehicle Packs were specifically designed so that a G.I. Joe or Cobra figure could actually ride in the vehicle. The Gyrocopter was part of the 1988 Wave 7 release.

• The Cobra Gyrocopter is not the same vehicle as the F.A.N.G. The F.A.N.G. is Cobra's larger Fully Armed Negator Gyrocopter, originally released in 1983.

• The 1988 Gyrocopter belongs to the Motorized Vehicle Pack range, together with the G.I. Joe ATV and Rocket Sled.

• It is one of the smallest true ride-in vehicles produced for the vintage ARAH line.

• Its wind-up mechanism makes it particularly interesting for collectors of the mechanical toys released in 1988.

• A complete example is relatively inexpensive compared with many full-size Cobra vehicles, making it a good entry-level collectible.
